REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: October 20, 2026 Business Entity: 1982 LLC (d/b/a Legal Clarity)

1. NO REFUNDS / ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Thank you for choosing 1982 LLC d/b/a Legal Clarity. We provide time-sensitive, specialized professional services, including Service of Process and Loan Closing Agent / Notary Signing Services.

Due to the administrative preparation, scheduling, document review, and field routing that begin immediately upon order placement, all sales, service bookings, and orders are final.

  • Strict No-Refund Policy: We maintain a strict No Refund policy across all service offerings. Once payment is processed or an order is submitted, no refunds, partial refunds, credits, or chargebacks will be issued for any reason.

2. SERVICE OF PROCESS SPECIFIC TERMS

  • Attempted vs. Completed Service: Fees are paid for the diligent attempt and operational execution of service of process in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Unsuccessful Service: Fees remain 100% non-refundable regardless of whether the target individual or entity evades service, provides fraudulent information, has moved, or cannot be located after diligent, reasonable attempts.
  • Inaccurate Information: If service cannot be effectuated due to incomplete, incorrect, or outdated address/identity information supplied by the client, no refunds will be issued. Additional fees may apply if the client requests attempts at a new or updated address.

3. LOAN CLOSING AGENT / NOTARY SERVICES SPECIFIC TERMS

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling by Third Parties: Fees remain non-refundable if a scheduled closing session is canceled, delayed, or rescheduled by the signer, lender, title company, or borrower once an agent has been assigned, prepped documents, or traveled to the appointment.
  • Refusal to Sign: If a borrower or signer refuses to sign documents during a closing appointment, or if the closing cannot proceed due to missing lender documentation or identity verification issues beyond our control, full service fees still apply and are non-refundable.

4. ORDER MODIFICATIONS & CLIENT ASSISTANCE

While orders cannot be canceled or refunded once submitted, we understand that case details and closing schedules can change.

We will make reasonable operational efforts to update your service details prior to field deployment; however, adjustments do not grant an option for cancellation or refund.
